Professional Profile

I am a field robotics engineer with more than 10 years of experience working as a C++/Python developer in robotics applications. I have worked with ROVs and AUVs both using custom or ROS middlewares. I also have experience in designing, machining and building robots from scratch. I have taught at the University of the Balearic Islands and I am now working and teaching at the University of Southampton.

My professional Background

Work Experience

DEC 2019 - NOW

Ocean Perception

University of Southampton

Research Fellow

Mapping in the background will build a fleet of ultra-low cost passive underwater robotic platforms, or DriftCams, capable of building massive digital maps of the seafloor using underwater currents to drift along near the seabed.
